History

Golden Heritage Polytechnic College began as Northern Mindanao Polytechnic School in 1987 at Executive Centrum Building, J.R. Borja Street, Cagayan de Oro City. Initially, the school offered two-year programs in various technical fields, including office administration, hotel and restaurant management, automotive maintenance, and more.

In 1991, the school relocated to Vamenta Boulevard and expanded to include secondary education. By 1998, it adopted its current name, inspired by the founders’ belief that education is a golden heritage that enriches the lives of students and their families.
