Cabuyao, officially the City of Cabuyao, is a component city in the Province of Laguna, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 355,330 people.
History
Cabuyao was once recognized as the “richest municipality in the Philippines” due to its thriving industrial sector. Over the years, the city has experienced significant economic growth, attracting various businesses and manufacturing industries.
On August 4, 2012, by virtue of Republic Act No. 10163, Cabuyao was converted from a municipality into a component city following a successful plebiscite.
