More importantly, Tanza is the true birthplace of the Philippine Republic. General Emilio Aguinaldo took his presidential oath here on March 23, 1897. This historic event happened inside the Santa Cruz Parish Church. The town is also the hometown of Felipe G. Calderon. He is known as the Father of the Malolos Constitution.

  • By Bus/Modern Jeepney: Head to the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX). From there, board buses or modern jeepneys heading to Tanza, Naic, or Nasugbu.
