The name “Tupi” is steeped in local legend. It is said to have originated from “tufi”, a beetle leaf chewed by the native inhabitants.   • By Air: Fly to General Santos City (GSC) International Airport.
  • By Land: From General Santos City, head to the Bulaong Terminal and board a bus or van bound for Koronadal (Marbel). Ask the conductor to drop you off at the Tupi Terminal. The travel time is approximately 1 hour.
  • Local Transport: Once in Tupi, tricycles and “habal-habal” (motorcycles) are the primary ways to reach the various inland farms and parks.
