The UniGames is a national collegiate sports event in the Philippines that gathers student athletes, coaches, parents, teachers, officials and suppliers in one vibrant and meaningful gathering.
Overview of the UniGames
The UniGames, also known as the Philippine University Games, is an annual multi sport competition that began in 1996 through the vision of Dr Rogelio T. Quiñones. It was designed to strengthen sports development in colleges and universities across the country and to provide a venue where teams from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao can compete at a high level.
Purpose and Mission
The event promotes athletic excellence, character growth and teamwork among student athletes. It also serves as preparation for national and international competitions while giving schools outside the major leagues a strong platform to showcase their programs.
