San Fernando is a 1st class municipality in the Province of Bukidnon, Mindanao, Philippines with a population of more than 60,000 inhabitants. It was previously a part of the Municipality of Maramag and City of Malaybalay, Bukidnon until former President Carlos P. Garcia signed Executive Order No. 347 on 29 July 1959 then converted into a municipality through Republic Act 4789 on 18 June 1966.

The municipality is now bordered by Malaybalay City (Bukidnon), Municipality of Cabanglasan (Bukidnon), Municipality of Talaingod (Davao Del Norte), Davao City, North Cotabato, Municipality of Quezon (Bukidnon), and Valencia City (Bukidnon).
