Congresswoman Maricar Zamora is a Filipino politician who currently serves as a member of the House of Representatives of the Philippines. She represents the 1st district of Compostela Valley, which is now officially known as the Davao de Oro province, after the province was renamed in 2019.

Before her election as a congresswoman, Zamora served as a member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (Provincial Board) of Compostela Valley from 2004 to 2010, and later as the Vice Governor of the province from 2010 to 2013. She also worked as a private lawyer prior to entering politics.

As a member of the House of Representatives, Congresswoman Zamora has been active in various legislative initiatives, particularly those aimed at promoting sustainable development, improving access to healthcare services, and addressing poverty in her district. She has also been involved in several public works projects, including the construction of roads and bridges, school buildings, and health facilities.

Zamora is affiliated with the National Unity Party and is part of the majority bloc in the House of Representatives. She is currently serving her second term as a congresswoman and will continue to hold her position until 2022.
