Located in the eastern part of the city of Tagum, the barangay of Apokon is one of the 23 barangays situated in the province of Davao del Norte, Philippines. Known for its commercial and business establishments, as well as its agricultural industry, the barangay has a population of over 37,000 people and covers an area of approximately 6 square kilometers / 630 hectares.
Various government offices, schools, and health centers, including the Apokon Elementary School and the Apokon Barangay Hall, are located within the area. Barangay Apokon stands at an elevation of 82 feet above sea level.
