Barangay Magugpo North – Tagum City

Barangay Magugpo North, situated in the northern part of Tagum City, is considered one of the largest barangays in the area, with a sprawling land area of around 73 hectares and a population of over 8,000 individuals. This barangay is renowned for its impressive educational institutions, including the University of Mindanao Tagum College and the Tagum City National High School. The Davao Regional Medical Center, a public hospital, is also located in Magugpo North and serves as a significant healthcare provider for the residents of Tagum City and the neighboring municipalities.

Magugpo North boasts remarkable infrastructure, which includes the multi-purpose sports complex, the New City Hall, and the Tagum City Trade and Cultural Center, hosting various events and activities throughout the year. Additionally, there are several places of worship in the area, such as the Santo NiƱo Parish Church, the United Church of Christ in the Philippines, and the Iglesia ni Cristo, which act as spiritual centers for the community, catering to the residents’ religious needs.

Magugpo North is situated in the City of Tagum, Province of Davao Del Norte, in the Davao Region of Mindanao, Philippines, residing 95.1 feet above sea level.
