The Toyota Rush is a compact SUV manufactured by Toyota, a renowned Japanese automaker. Initially introduced in 2006, it primarily targets Asian markets such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

This vehicle is designed to provide a blend of practicality, versatility, and affordability. It boasts a spacious interior with three rows of seating, accommodating up to seven passengers. The rear seats can be folded to create additional cargo space when required.

It typically comes equipped with a gasoline engine, though specific options may vary by market. A common configuration includes a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine coupled with either a manual or automatic transmission. It is usually available in front-wheel-drive, with an optional all-wheel-drive configuration.

Toyota has been regularly updating the Toyota Rush in recent years, introducing newer generations with enhanced features and technologies. These updates often encompass improvements in safety features, connectivity options, and interior comforts.

In the Philippines, the 2023-2024 model is offered in three different variants. The price range for these models spans from ₱ 1,012,000 to ₱ 1,176,000. The base model is the 2021 Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT, priced at ₱ 1,012,000, while the top-tier variant is the 2021 Toyota Rush 1.5 G AT, available at ₱ 1,176,000.

It’s worth noting that it was launched in May 2019, and is marketed as a small multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in the Philippines. It directly competes against the small SUV segment and is known as the Daihatsu Terios in other ASEAN markets.
