The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is an agency of the Philippine government entrusted with the task of developing policies, executing programs, and delivering services in the realm of labor and employment as prescribed by the Philippine Labor Code.
Operating within the Executive branch of the government, DOLE oversees labor and employment practices that impact both local employers and employees, as well as Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
