Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is a Philippine-government agency responsible for formulating policies, implement programs, and provide services in the field of labor and employment and under the Philippine Labor Code.
This is under the Executive branch of the government that manage labor and employment practices affecting local employers, local employees, and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW). It ensures that wages, monetary benefits, working hours, rest days, holiday pay, leave, termination rights, and other fair employment practices are provided.
