Hinatuan Enchanted River is a sacred and mysterious saltwater river in the municipality of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur, Mindanao, Philippines. It is known for its crystal-clear water and bluish deep water. As part of the local tradition and ritual, the Hinatuan Hymn is played at noontime and no one is allowed to swim on the river during this period.
FROM DAVAO CITY
From the Davao International Airport, you can rent a van that will bring you to tourist destinations in Surigao Del Sur which includes Hinatuan River, Tinuy-an Falls, Sibadan Fish Cage, Bingkahan sa Mawab, and Britania Islet
Once you arrive in Hinatuan, you have to ride a motorbike / motorcycle bring you through a dirt road and forested area to the river.
