The Office of the City Building Official of Davao City has issued red-tag notices to seven private buildings after the magnitude 7.8 earthquake on June 8. These structures are unsafe for occupancy until repairs are completed.
Affected red-tagged buildings include Teleperformance and VXI offices at SM City Davao, Linmar Towers, a Bangkal dormitory, EastWest, Vivaldi Residences, and Madayaw Residences.
Twenty-two other structures received yellow tags including Magallanes Residences, Felcris Centrale, Verdon Parc, Alorica, NCCC Buhangin, SSS Medical Building, Abreeza Mall, Pinnacle Hotel, Avida Towers, BPI, The Paragon Davao, AC Premium, Palmeto Place, United Davao Specialists Hospital, and Gaisano Grand City Gate.
Arch. Khashayar L. Toghyani said assessments may change as more inspections are done.
