What is Sublimation Printing?
Dye-sublimation is a printing process that uses heat to transfer dye directly into polyester fabric fibers. Unlike surface printing methods, the ink becomes a permanent part of the material — it won't crack, peel, or wash away.
This makes sublimation ideal for all-over prints, sports jerseys, and any design where vibrant, edge-to-edge color is essential. The result is a garment where you literally cannot feel the print — it's one with the fabric.
- 1
Design is Printed on Transfer Paper
Your design is printed in reverse onto special sublimation transfer paper using sublimation inks.
- 2
Transfer Paper is Placed on Fabric
The printed paper is aligned on the polyester garment or fabric panel, ready for heat pressing.
- 3
Heat Press Activates the Dye
At approximately 200°C (392°F), the solid dye sublimates into gas, penetrating the polyester fibers.
- 4
Dye Bonds Permanently
As the fabric cools, the dye locks into the fibers — creating a permanent, full-color print that's part of the fabric itself.
The Sublimation Advantage
Full-color, edge-to-edge prints that become part of the fabric. No hand feel, no cracking, no fading — the design IS the fabric.
Sublimation vs Other Printing Methods
Each printing method has its strengths. Here's how sublimation compares to the most common techniques for polyester and sportswear projects.

Why Choose Sublimation Printing?
Sublimation is the gold standard for polyester sportswear and all-over prints. Here's why teams, schools, and brands choose it.
Zero Hand Feel
The dye penetrates the fabric fibers directly — you literally cannot feel the print. No raised texture, no stiff patches, just smooth fabric.
Vibrant, Photo-Quality Colors
Unlimited colors, gradients, and photographic detail. Sublimation reproduces the most complex designs with stunning accuracy.
Permanent & Indestructible
The print becomes part of the fabric. It won't crack, peel, or fade — even after hundreds of wash cycles. It lasts as long as the garment.
All-Over Printing
Print edge-to-edge across the entire garment — collar to hem, sleeve to sleeve. No placement restrictions unlike other methods.
Fast Turnaround
No screen creation or plate setup. Most orders completed in 3–5 business days with rush options available for urgent projects.
Cost-Effective at Any Scale
From single custom pieces to bulk team orders of 500+, sublimation is economical at every quantity — no expensive screen setups.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about sublimation printing and our services.
What fabrics can sublimation print on?
Sublimation works exclusively on polyester and poly-blend fabrics (minimum 60% polyester content). The dye bonds chemically with polyester fibers — it won't work on cotton, nylon, or natural fabrics. For cotton or mixed fabrics, consider DTF printing instead.
How is sublimation different from DTF printing?
Sublimation dyes the fabric fibers directly (zero hand feel, works on any polyester), while DTF transfers a film onto the surface (works on all fabrics but has a slight hand feel). For polyester sportswear and all-over prints, sublimation is superior. For cotton or dark fabrics, DTF is the better choice.
How durable are sublimation prints?
Extremely durable — the print is literally part of the fabric. It won't crack, peel, or fade even after hundreds of wash cycles. Sublimation is the most permanent printing method available for polyester garments.
Can sublimation print on dark fabrics?
Sublimation is best on white or light-colored polyester fabrics. The dye is transparent, so it won't show up on dark backgrounds. For dark fabrics, we recommend DTF printing or silkscreen instead.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No! We accept orders of any size — from a single custom piece to bulk orders of 500+ pieces. Sublimation is especially cost-effective for small batches since there are no screen setup fees.
How long does sublimation printing take?
Standard turnaround is 3–5 business days depending on order size and complexity. Rush orders (1–2 days) are available for an additional fee. We'll give you an exact timeline when you place your order.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept AI, PSD, PDF, PNG, JPG, and SVG files. High-resolution files (300 DPI) are preferred for the best print quality. If you don't have a design ready, our team can create one for you at no extra cost on qualifying orders.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes! We ship via LBC, J&T Express, Shopee, and Lazada nationwide. Local delivery is available in Tagum City, Davao City, and Cagayan de Oro. You can also pick up at any of our branches across the Philippines.
