Monday, June 8 marked the opening of classes across the Philippines, and in Malolos City, the Bulacan Police Provincial Office made sure students returned to school safely. P/Col. Jay B. Baybayan personally visited the City of Malolos Integrated School (CMIS) in Barangay Sto. Rosario to inspect safety preparations.

Accompanied by P/Lt. Col. Rommel E. Geneblazo, Chief of Police of the Malolos City Police Station, Baybayan conducted an ocular inspection of the campus. The visit was part of the PNP’s nationwide Ligtas na Balik-Eskwela program, which deploys police personnel near schools during the first days of classes.

CMIS, one of the city’s largest integrated schools, serves hundreds of students from various barangays. The visible police patrols gave parents confidence as they sent their children to a new academic year. The partnership between law enforcement and educational institutions continues to strengthen community safety across Malolos.
