HUE Grounds in Clark, Pampanga recently hosted the Decathlon Foundation’s 2nd Year in Clark Celebration, bringing together community partners, sports advocates, and members of the Aeta community from Sitio Target, Sapang Bato, Angeles City for a meaningful day of sports, inclusion, and empowerment.
Held under the theme “Kayabe Ka!,” the event was organized by Decathlon Foundation in partnership with Hausland Commercial Inc., Hausland Urban Estates Corporation (HUE), and the Clark International Football Academy (CIFA). The celebration reflects a shared commitment to making sports more accessible and inclusive for underserved communities in Central Luzon.
As the primary beneficiaries of the program, members of the Aeta community from Sitio Target participated in a variety of sports and recreational activities designed to encourage teamwork, confidence, physical wellness, and social inclusion. The event provided a welcoming environment where participants could experience the positive impact of sports while strengthening connections within their community.
Young athletes from the community got hands-on football training with coaches from the Clark International Football Academy, learning fundamentals of the sport in a supportive and encouraging setting. The day also featured games and team-building exercises that emphasized cooperation, sportsmanship, and fun.
The Decathlon Foundation’s initiative is part of a broader push to bring sports development programs to marginalized communities across the Philippines. By partnering with local organizations and leveraging community venues like HUE Grounds, the foundation aims to create lasting pathways for youth engagement through athletics.
Angeles City and the Clark Freeport Zone continue to be important hubs for community sports and recreation. For local teams, school clubs, and barangay organizations looking to foster the same spirit of teamwork and unity, custom sports uniforms and team jerseys can make a significant difference in building team identity and morale.
Schools and youth organizations interested in launching their own sports programs can also explore custom school and organization apparel to help participants feel like part of something bigger. Whether it’s a community sports league or a one-day clinic like this one, having coordinated uniforms strengthens the sense of belonging and team pride.
For barangay and municipal groups planning similar community events, custom event shirts are a practical and memorable way to commemorate participation and encourage community engagement.
