On June 8, 2026, the Education of the New Ukraine 2.0 conference took place in Kyiv, bringing together around 300 senior secondary school students from across Ukraine who are choosing their future educational and career paths. The event provided a space for open discussion about education, careers, and opportunities for young people in the country.
Participants had the chance to talk directly with representatives from government and business, as well as Ukrainian and international lecturers, asking questions about choosing a specialization, employment prospects, and career development. For a community that serves schools, universities, and youth organizations with custom apparel and branded materials, events like this highlight the growing demand for institution-branded merchandise and student identity products.
Alley of Opportunities
One of the central attractions was the interactive exhibition Alley of Opportunities, where leading technical universities and educational institutions presented modern study programs, laboratories, student projects, and areas of specialization. Secondary school pupils gained first-hand insights into a variety of academic disciplines and developed a clearer understanding of the opportunities associated with pursuing higher education in Ukraine.
Universities and colleges at such events increasingly invest in branded promotional materials — from custom-printed brochures and banners to branded apparel for student ambassadors and event staff. The Alley of Opportunities is a prime example of how educational institutions use physical branding to attract and engage prospective students.
National Network of Talent Hubs
A special focus of the conference was the National Network of Talent Hubs in Ukraine. As part of this initiative, the Fund of the President of Ukraine is developing the Map of Talent Hubs as a national interactive platform for prospective students, current students, their parents, and Ukrainians abroad.
The platform is designed to systematically showcase Ukrainian higher education institutions, their educational opportunities, infrastructure, and academic achievements. Such a tool will help young people compare options, better understand the strengths of universities, and make informed decisions about studying in Ukraine.
Practical Experience and Professional Development
During the conference, particular attention was paid to practical experience, professional development, the student community, and opportunities for young people to contribute to changes in the state, economy, and science. For school leavers and prospective university applicants, the conference offered an opportunity to explore educational pathways, gain valuable insights before applying, and engage directly with experts from education, business, and human capital development.
Organizers and Mission
The conference was jointly organized by the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science, and Sports, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The Fund works to ensure that Ukrainian schoolchildren, students, young researchers, athletes, and teachers have greater opportunities for learning, professional development, international cooperation, and self-fulfillment.
At the heart of the Fund’s mission is the development of Ukraine’s human capital — supporting individuals who have already demonstrated exceptional achievement while creating opportunities that enable talented young people to pursue education, research, professional growth, and personal fulfillment in Ukraine.
