The highly anticipated hybrid fitness event, officially named AirAsia HYROX Jakarta, is scheduled for June 27-28, 2026, at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) in Pantai Indah Kapuk 2, North Jakarta.
Record-Breaking Participation
With a target of 11,500 participants, HYROX Jakarta 2026 is projected to become the largest HYROX event in the entire Asia Pacific region — dwarfing other regional editions. For comparison, HYROX Singapore drew approximately 3,500 participants, while HYROX Bangkok attracted around 9,000. Jakarta’s edition represents a massive leap forward, signaling Indonesia’s rising prominence in the global fitness and active lifestyle movement.
Puspita Winawati, Marketing Director of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka, estimated that around 4,000 of the total participants will be international athletes traveling specifically to Indonesia for the competition. This influx positions Jakarta as a major sport tourism destination.
What Is HYROX?
HYROX is the world’s premier indoor fitness competition, combining running with functional workout stations. Participants complete eight 1-kilometer runs interspersed with eight functional exercise stations — including sled pushes, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmer’s carries, and more.
