Slovakia’s oldest and largest international film festival, IFF Art Film, returns to Košice for its 32nd edition from June 19 to June 25, 2026. This week-long celebration of cinema transforms eastern Slovakia’s largest city into a film lover’s paradise, showcasing 128 films from around the globe — 77 feature-length and 51 short films across three international competition sections.
What to Expect at Art Film 2026
The festival program spans multiple genres and formats, from independent international cinema to beloved Slovak classics. Screenings take place at venues across Košice including Kunsthalle Košice, with additional side events, masterclasses, and discussions with filmmakers. The festival also features special tributes and the prestigious Milan Lasica Award, presented this year in memoriam to legendary Slovak actor Vladislav Müller.
Film Festival Apparel
Film festivals are the perfect opportunity for custom-printed merchandise. Festival attendees love showing their cinema passion through movie-themed T-shirts, hoodies, and accessories. Whether you’re a filmmaker, a volunteer, or a dedicated cinephile, custom apparel featuring Art Film graphics, Slovak cinema references, or Košice city pride makes a memorable festival souvenir.
