WWE Night of Champions is a premier professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by WWE, established in 2007. The event is characterized by featuring championship matches — every match on the card is contested for a championship. After being discontinued following 2015, the event was reinstated in 2023 and has since become one of WWE’s flagship international events, held annually in Saudi Arabia as part of WWE’s 10-year partnership supporting Saudi Vision 2030.

Tournament Storylines
The 25th King of the Ring and 4th Queen of the Ring tournaments began on the June 1 episode of Raw, with first-round matches consisting of fatal four-way matches. The semifinals took place on the June 15 and June 19 episodes of Raw and SmackDown, respectively. Oba Femi, Jey Uso, Iyo Sky, and Liv Morgan advanced to the finals. Unlike prior years, the Queen of the Ring winner had a choice of which world title to challenge for at SummerSlam.
The Vision vs. Seth Rollins
The steel cage match was the culmination of a year-long storyline. Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman originally formed an alliance called “The Vision” in April 2025, with Bronson Reed joining in May. However, Breakker and Reed turned on Rollins in October 2025, adding Logan Paul and Austin Theory to the group. Rollins, initially sidelined with injury, orchestrated masked attacks on The Vision before returning for revenge. At Backlash, Breakker defeated Rollins, setting up the steel cage showdown at Night of Champions.
