Arellano University continues to build for the future as the Chiefs have added two NBTC All-Stars to their roster ahead of NCAA Season 102, according to multiple reports. The move comes as part of Arellano’s ongoing recruitment efforts to strengthen their lineup for the upcoming collegiate basketball season.
The NBTC (National Basketball Training Center) All-Star game showcases the best high school basketball talent from across the Philippines, making these recruits significant additions for the Chiefs as they look to improve on their performance from NCAA Season 101.
Arellano was drawn into Group B for NCAA Season 102 alongside the Letran Knights, Perpetual Help, San Sebastian, and EAC. Adding these young talents will be crucial as the Chiefs look to navigate a competitive group that features reigning champion San Beda in the other bracket.
NCAA Season 102 is scheduled to tip off in September 2026, with San Beda University serving as the host school. The league has adopted a group-stage format that was well-received in Season 101, featuring 13 elimination-round games per team where the top two teams from each group advance outright to the quarterfinals with twice-to-beat incentives.
With the recruitment of NBTC standouts, Arellano is signaling its intent to be a more competitive force in the upcoming season. Fans can expect the team to be more aggressive in the play-in round or potentially secure a coveted twice-to-beat advantage if they can climb the standings.
