School intramurals season is one of the busiest times of the year for us. From September to February, we get orders from public high schools, private schools, and colleges across Davao del Norte and nearby provinces. Each school has its own set of rules for what jerseys should look like, and it helps to know these requirements before you start designing.
Common Requirements Across Schools
- Team color coordination — Most schools assign specific colors per team or department. Check with your SSG or sports coordinator first.
- School logo placement — Usually required on the front left chest or center. The logo must be the official school seal, not a recreated version.
- Player numbers — Must be at least 4 inches tall on the back and 3 inches on the front. Numbers should be visible from a distance.
- Name on back — Optional in some schools, required in others. Clarify with your adviser before submitting the order.
- Fabric policy — Some schools ban cotton jerseys for active sports. Polydex or dri-fit is usually the minimum requirement.
- No offensive content — Team names or slogans must be pre-approved by the student affairs office.
Intramurals vs. Varsity Uniforms
Intramural jerseys are typically simpler than varsity uniforms. They focus on team identification rather than brand representation. Most schools order one set per student-athlete, with matching shorts optional. We have seen a growing trend of schools ordering complete sets — jersey, shorts, and sometimes a warm-up shirt — especially after the Palarong Pambansa set a higher standard for school sports gear in 2026.
Budgeting for Intramural Jerseys
- Public schools often have a PHP 150 to PHP 250 per jersey budget from the PTA or school sports fund
- Private schools typically allocate PHP 250 to PHP 400 per set
- Bulk discounts kick in at 50 pieces and above — most intramurals need at least 100 to 200 jerseys across different sports

How Early Should Schools Order?
We recommend ordering at least three to four weeks before the intramural opening. This gives enough time for design approval, sample production, and any revisions.
