Flame-Resistant Workwear FAQ

What is the difference between inherently FR and treated FR fabrics?

Inherently FR fabrics (like Nomex) are flame-resistant by chemical composition—the protection never washes or wears out. Treated FR fabrics (like 88/12 Westex) are cotton blends treated with flame-retardant chemicals engineered to last for 50-100 industrial wash cycles.

Are your company logos embroidered with flame-resistant thread?

Yes. Regular polyester or nylon threads melt under heat and compromise safety. We embroider all company logos and name patches exclusively using 100% Nomex FR thread.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom FR workwear?

Our standard minimum order quantity for custom embroidered FR coveralls or work shirts is 15 pieces per style. Sample garments can be ordered for safety officer review prior to bulk orders.

How long does custom FR uniform production take?

Standard lead time is 7 to 14 business days from artwork approval. Expedited rush production is available for urgent site compliance audits.
