Japan’s beloved digital pet is celebrating a milestone in Hokkaido. The Grand Tamagotchi Exhibition is running at Sapporo Factory from June 6 to June 28, 2026, marking 30 years since Bandai launched the iconic keychain pet.
This immersive exhibition goes beyond a retrospective. Visitors step inside the Tamagotchi world through interactive displays. Since 1996, Tamagotchi has evolved through 38 models. Cumulative shipments exceed 100 million units across 50 regions worldwide.
Fans can purchase limited-edition exhibition-only items. The goods-included ticket bundles admission with exclusive items. June 6-28 at Sapporo Factory. Advance tickets from YEN 1,600. Time slot reservations required. The exhibition also tours to Nagoya, Mito, and Osaka.
