Hokkaido largest manga and anime festival returns to Lake Toya this summer. Toyako Manga Anime Festa 2026 takes over Toyako Onsen town on June 27-28, 2026, transforming the hot spring resort into a celebration of Japanese pop culture.
Thousands of anime fans from across Japan attend this annual event. Cosplay parades, exhibitions, and contests are held throughout the weekend. The event also features itasha car displays and fan-made merchandise stalls with unique collectibles and custom apparel.
