KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — Organizers of the T’nalak Dreamweavers Marathon 2026 have announced that the event has reached its target of 1,500 registered participants, signaling strong interest in one of the flagship sporting events of South Cotabato’s 60th Foundation Anniversary and 27th T’nalak Festival. The marathon is set to take place on June 28, 2026, starting at midnight from the South Cotabato Sports Complex in Koronadal City.
The Dreamweavers Marathon will feature four race categories: the full 42-kilometer marathon, a 21-kilometer half-marathon, a 10-kilometer run, and a 5-kilometer fun run. Around 300 participants are expected to compete in the premier 42K category, with the turnaround point in Surallah. The 21K runners will turn around at Armando Resort in Banga, while the 10K route turns near the DOH office.
The event has attracted runners from Koronadal City, nearby provinces, and even Metro Manila, combining the race with T’nalak Festival travel. The T’nalak Festival 2026 from July 10 to 18 celebrates the iconic T’nalak woven cloth of the T’boli people. This year the province is promoting South Cotabato as a sports tourism destination with 17 sports events starting June 6, a month before the main festival.
For running teams joining the marathon, custom sports uniforms and running jerseys are great for race day. Clubs can also get custom-printed event shirts to build team spirit. The sports complex in Koronadal will serve as start and finish line for all categories.
Beyond the marathon, the festival sports calendar includes basketball, volleyball, boxing, and other competitions. These events offer excellent opportunities for teams and organizations to order custom event shirts and team uniforms. With 1,500 runners and thousands of spectators, the Dreamweavers Marathon 2026 promotes fitness and community pride in Koronadal City.
