  1. The Division Is Created

House Bill 5353, sponsored by then Congressman Arrel R. Olaño, amended Republic Act 8472, the charter of Tagum City, to create a city schools division. It opened as a medium sized division with three districts, Tagum Central, Tagum North, and Tagum South.

  2. National Brigada Eskwela Kick Off

The division hosted the national Brigada Eskwela kick off ceremony through a virtual platform, one of the year's biggest school maintenance events.

  3. Organizational Structure Updated

The division published an updated organizational structure and moved its services and documents onto the official website at deped.tagumcity.gov.ph.

  4. Every School Submits

All 39 public schools appear as submitted on the DepEd National Inventory Data Collection dashboard, a full completion rate with no school awaiting follow up.
