Open the Official Portal
Start an individual or group appointment only at passport.gov.ph. Appointments are free. Never pay fixers or social media sellers for slots.
Enter Accurate Details
Register with a Google or Yahoo email address to avoid technical issues, and double check every field. Wrong details can void the application.
Pay Within the Window
Settle the fee through accredited ePayment merchants. Missed slots, cancellations, and discrepant documents forfeit the nonrefundable fee.
Manage, Do Not Cancel
To move your slot, use the Manage Existing Appointment option. A cancelled appointment cannot be restored and its fee cannot be reused.

Opens at Gmall of Tagum
Soft opening on 26 November with full public opening on 28 November, as reported by BusinessWorld. The 32nd consular office in the country and the 7th in Mindanao, and the first mall based regional office under the DFA and Gmall partnership program, per the Davao del Norte newsroom. Opening week ran about 150 slots per day, with day one reserved for 100 priority clients: persons with disability, pregnant women, solo parents, and senior citizens.

Passporting Pauses for the Move
Passport services suspended from 13 to 19 December 2023 for the transfer to a temporary office in Robinsons Place Tagum, while releasing and assistance to nationals continued, per the DFA transfer advisory.

Regular Operations Resume at Robinsons
Full operations restart on 02 January 2024 at Level 3, Robinsons Place Tagum, National Highway, Visayan Village. Note that the older DFA directory page still lists the Gmall address.

01 July: Araw ng Davao del Norte
The office closes for the provincial public holiday. DFA ordered the closure on 01 July 2025 and DFA OCA announced the closure on 01 July 2026.
07 March: Araw ng Tagum
Operations suspend each year for the city founding anniversary, announced for 2023, 2024, and the 27th Araw ng Tagum in 2025.
10 October 2025: Earthquake
DFA suspended operations in Tagum together with Butuan, Davao, and General Santos after the earthquake, per the DFA advisory of that date.
