The Gibraltar Dapper Riders have once again proven that style and substance go hand in hand, donating an impressive £8,008 to Prostate Cancer Gibraltar following the 2026 Distinguished Gentlemans Ride. The event took place on Sunday, May 17, and brought together a record-breaking 174 riders who took to Gibraltars streets dressed in their finest attire aboard classic, vintage, and modern-classic motorcycles.
The annual ride is part of the global Distinguished Gentlemans Ride movement, which unites motorcyclists in more than 100 countries to raise awareness and funds for mens health causes, including prostate cancer and mens mental health. This years turnout provided a memorable spectacle for residents and visitors alike while shining a spotlight on the critical importance of prostate cancer awareness and early detection.
The 2026 edition marked one of the most successful rides in the events Gibraltar history. The funds raised will directly support the work of Prostate Cancer Gibraltar, including awareness campaigns, educational initiatives, and efforts to encourage men to seek testing and medical advice at the earliest opportunity.
The event was made possible through the generous support of local businesses and organisations, including Gibunco Management, MiFix, Bassadone Motors, Quickfit Tyres, The Bottle Shop, Ocean Village Marina, and others. The Gibraltar Dapper Riders have once again shown that when the local community comes together with a common purpose, it can make a meaningful and lasting impact.
