Hundreds of job seekers from Mandaluyong City flocked to the 2026 Kalayaan Job Fair held at SM Megamall on June 12, 2026. The event was part of the nationwide Independence Day celebration organized by DOLE.
The job fair at Cinema 3, Level 3, Mega A of SM Megamall offered thousands of local and overseas vacancies. Over 38,000 job openings were available across the National Capital Region, making it one of the largest job fairs in Metro Manila this year.
Mandaluyong City PESO office promoted the event to connect local job seekers with employers. Staff assisted residents with resume preparation, application requirements, and on-site registration.
The event featured dozens of local employers and overseas recruitment agencies offering positions in retail, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, and IT. Both fresh graduates and experienced professionals found suitable opportunities.
