Parañaque City is set to host one of the most anticipated cultural events this June as the Stella Dance Jam: Philippines × Japan Friendship 2026 takes over The Theatre at Solaire for two nights of spectacular performances celebrating the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
The event, presented by the Japan Foundation Manila (JFM), will be held on June 20 and 21 at The Theatre at Solaire in Parañaque City. This dance showcase is part of the broader Japan-Philippines Friendship Year 2026 and promises to bring together world-class talent from both countries.
Headlining the event is globally acclaimed Filipino-Japanese choreographer RIEHATA, known as the “Queen of Swag” for her work with international artists including K-pop groups and Hollywood productions. On June 20, she will be joined on stage by P-Pop sensation SB19, the internationally recognized “Kings of Pop,” for a special collaboration performance that fans have eagerly anticipated.
The second night on June 21 will feature performances by 1Z Entertainment’s rising P-Pop girl group XONARA and J2X. Representing Japan, RIEHATA’s elite Tokyo-based dance collective RHT Family will also take the stage, bringing their signature high-energy choreography.
What makes this event truly special is that 33 dancers—13 from Japan and 20 from the Philippines—were selected through auditions to perform alongside the main acts, making this a genuine platform for emerging talent from both countries.
