Couples for Christ (CFC), one of the worlds largest Catholic global lay communities, is celebrating its milestone 45th anniversary with a weeklong series of events running from June 13 to 20, 2026. The celebrations are centered in Manila and feature faith, family, and service-oriented activities for members and the broader community.
The anniversary week includes daily masses, prayer gatherings, and fellowship events hosted at various venues across the capital. A highlight of the celebration is the anniversary celebration at the Quadricentennial Pavilion of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila, one of the most iconic Catholic universities in Asia.
CFC was founded in 1981 in Manila and has since grown into a worldwide movement with members in over 160 countries. The organization focuses on strengthening family life through Christian values, community service, and evangelization. The 45th anniversary is a testament to the enduring impact of the movement on Filipino families and communities.
As part of the celebrations, CFC launched an online art exhibit running from June 12 to June 30, showcasing original faith-inspired works by homegrown CFC artists. The exhibit highlights the creative talents within the community and offers a unique way for members to express their devotion through art.
The week culminates in a grand celebration at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium on June 20, where thousands of CFC members from across the country will gather for a day of worship, fellowship, and thanksgiving under the theme One Family.
