Ticket prices for the 2026 World Cup have been a point of contention for many Mexican locals. When you add in transportation to stadiums, hotel stays in host cities, matchday food and drinks, and merchandise purchases, the costs add up quickly.

Custom jerseys, scarves, flags, and printed t-shirts representing El Tri are flying off shelves across Mexico. Official Adidas Mexico jerseys start at 00, while custom-printed fan shirts and accessories add to the growing tab.

Merchandise and Apparel Boom During the Tournament

The World Cup effect on apparel and merchandise sales is undeniable. From official licensed gear to custom-printed t-shirts at local markets, Mexican fans are decking out in green, white, and red.
