Barangay Ginebra stars RJ Abarrientos and Justin Brownlee swept the top individual honors in PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup. Abarrientos won Best Player of the Conference after averaging 21.2 points, 5.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game in just his sophomore season faster than his legendary uncle Johnny Flying A Abarrientos.
Brownlee at 38 became the oldest player to win Best Import his fourth such honor second all-time behind Bobby Parks Sr. He averaged 29.7 points 8.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists throughout the conference.
