MANILA, Philippines – The Galaxy Manila Marathon 2026 is set to make history as it transforms EDSA into a world-class racecourse on June 12 and 13, coinciding with Philippine Independence Day celebrations. Organized by RUNRIO in partnership with SM Supermalls, this landmark event promises an unforgettable urban marathon experience through the heart of Metro Manila.
Race Details
The marathon features a historic route along EDSA, taking runners on an epic journey from SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City to SM City North EDSA in Quezon City. The event kicks off with the premier 42-kilometer full marathon starting at 11:30 PM on June 12, followed by other race categories on June 13.
Race Categories
Participants can choose from multiple race distances including the Full Marathon (42KM), Half Marathon (21KM), 10KM, and 5KM categories. The 21-kilometer category has already sold out with over 9,000 runners registered, making it one of the largest Half Marathon categories in the Philippines. Slots for the 10KM and 5KM categories are still available but filling up fast.
