ASICS Japan has unveiled the 2026 Japan Mens Volleyball National Team uniforms themed IBUKI meaning breath or respiration. The new kits and replica T-shirts began rolling out May 28 through the ASICS online store.
The IBUKI theme aims to channel players focus and energy into performance. The design features motifs inspired by Ise Katagami a traditional Japanese stencil craft blending artistry with sport.
Three Color Options
The uniforms come in V-Red (Japans signature volleyball red) White and Black. The third uniform features black with Illuminate Mint and Hazy Lilac accents.
The game shirt uses ASICS ACTIMOTION 3D cutting technology designed not to hinder arm movements essential in volleyball. Moisture-wicking fabric coverage expanded by 4.8% over the previous model.
Player Feedback
Captain Yuki Ishikawa said the uniform with its IBUKI theme helps channel breath and concentration into play. Yuji Nishida praised the traditional Japanese design and powerful V-Red coloring. Ran Takahashi noted the excellent moisture-wicking and improved arm mobility for spikes and serves.

Fan Merchandise
ASICS released replica T-shirts with the same IBUKI design concept for the first time. The authentic game shirt costs ¥39,600 while the replica T-shirt is ¥9,900 both tax included.
Sizes range from S to 3XL. The replica T-shirt in V-Red features Ishikawa Nishida Takahashi Kento Miyaura and Yuto Kai. Performance Black features Ishikawa Nishida and Takahashi.
Filipino volleyball fans can find these items through the ASICS online store. The IBUKI uniform represents a fusion of traditional Japanese aesthetics and modern sportswear technology.
