Bulk Used Clothing Export Division
Used Clothing Bales Exporter for Latin America
RB Advertising sorts, presses, and loads used clothing bales for trading companies, procurement brokers, and regional wholesalers across Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. Cream, Grade A, Grade B, tropical mix, summer mix, and credential stock, packed at 45 kg or 100 lb and shipped in 20ft and 40ft containers on CIF or FOB terms.
What a Container Booking With Our Export Desk Looks Like
Three stages, from the first grade brief to the document set that clears your customs broker on arrival. You are dealing with the sorting floor and the loading bay, not a layer of middlemen.
Grade and volume brief
You send the grade or grade mix, the bale packing, the container size, and the destination port. Our desk confirms what is available for that lane and whether your destination acceptance requirements can be met before you commit to anything.
Sort, press, and load
Stock is sorted to the agreed grade, hydraulically pressed, weighed, and labelled by bale. The container is loaded under our own supervision, with loading photographs recorded against your booking number.
Ship and hand over documents
The container moves on the quoted CIF or FOB terms. The export document set travels to you and your broker so that destination clearance can be started before the vessel berths.
Destination Ports We Quote for Used Clothing Bales
These are the Latin American destinations our export desk quotes most often. Any other port your broker nominates can be checked for availability on request.
| Region | Destination ports | Terms | Document posture |
|---|---|---|---|
| Guatemala | Puerto Quetzal, Santo Tomás de Castilla | CIF or FOB | Export document set prepared by our desk |
| Honduras | Puerto Cortés | CIF or FOB | Export document set prepared by our desk |
| Chile | Iquique, ZOFRI free zone | CIF or FOB | Export document set prepared by our desk |
| Peru | Callao and other ports on request | CIF or FOB | Lane availability confirmed before booking |
| Central America, South America, Caribbean | Port of your choice, quoted on request | CIF or FOB | Lane availability confirmed before booking |
Used Clothing Grades We Sort and Press
Six grade lines leave our sorting floor. Each one is press packed to the packing you specify, so that the bale count and the net weight on your documents match the load you receive.
Cream grade
Our top sorted line. Cream grade carries the highest proportion of wearable, current season stock and the lowest discard rate once it reaches your sorting table.
Grade A
Clean, wearable second hand clothing with minor faults only. The standard line for wholesalers who resell directly to retail stalls and market vendors.
Grade B
Wearable stock with visible faults such as fading, small repairs, or missing fastenings. Priced for volume trade where resale is by the kilo.
Tropical mixed grade
Weighted toward light garments: T-shirts, shorts, thin wovens, and summer dresses. Built for hot and humid markets rather than temperate resale.
Summer mixed grade
A seasonal mix of lightweight tops, dresses, and beachwear, pressed and packed for buyers whose selling season runs through the warm months.
Credential clothing
Original and sorted credential lines, where the mix is drawn from higher value branded and label stock. Availability by grade and packing is confirmed per order.
Container Mechanics and What Arrives at Your Port
Loading is planned against the packing you choose and the container size you book, so the bale count stays predictable from quotation to arrival.
Planned at quotation, not guessed at loading
- Container size fixed at 20ft or 40ft, matched to the grade mix and packing you order.
- Bales pressed at 45 kg or 100 lb, then counted and labelled individually before loading.
- Loading photographs and the bale count recorded against your booking number.
- Documents issued against the same count, so nothing is reconciled after the fact.
- Mixed grade loads quoted per booking, subject to confirmation that the mix works inside one container.
Number we do not publish, and why
Bales per container, net kilos per load, lead time, monthly capacity, and price all move with the grade, the packing, and the destination port. Publishing a single figure would be a number that only fits one booking.
Tell the export desk your lane and we confirm the real figures for that booking in writing, before you place an order.
Documents and Destination Acceptance
Used clothing trade is regulated unevenly across Latin America. Some destinations license it, some set quotas, and some restrict it outright. We would rather confirm your lane first than load a container that sits at the port.
What our desk does
- Prepares the export document set for your booking and destination.
- Confirms the declaration requirements your destination applies to used clothing before accepting the booking.
- Issues documents against the recorded bale count and net weight that left the loading bay.
What sits with you
Import licensing, quotas, and duty at destination are your responsibility together with your customs broker. Admissibility is confirmed in writing before we commit a container to your lane.
No quotation from us claims that clearance will be granted, because that decision belongs to your destination authority.
Frequently Asked Questions
The questions our export desk fields most often from trading companies and importers.
What is the minimum order for a used clothing bale container?
We supply by container load in 20ft and 40ft sizes. The exact minimum for your lane and grade is confirmed per order, because loading planning depends on your chosen bale packing, the grade mix, and the destination port.
Which used clothing grades can be loaded in one container?
Mixed grade loads are quoted per booking. Tell our export desk which grades you want and in what proportion, and where a mix is workable inside a single container we confirm the loading plan before you commit.
Do you ship used clothing on CIF or FOB terms?
Both. A CIF quotation includes ocean freight and insurance to the port you name. An FOB quotation hands the container over at the Philippine loading port confirmed for your booking.
How are the used clothing bales packed?
Bales are hydraulically pressed and packed at 45 kg or 100 lb. The packing is fixed at quotation so the bale count and the net weight printed on your documents match what arrives at destination.
Who handles import licensing and duties at the destination country?
Import licensing, quotas, and duties at destination sit with you and your customs broker. Our documents desk prepares the export set and confirms the declaration requirements for your destination before a booking is accepted.
Can we visit the sorting floor before placing an order?
Yes. Buying agents and importers are welcome to inspect the sorting and pressing lines in person. Arrange a visit through the export desk and we will schedule it against your travel dates.
