Barangay Magugpo East is a barangay located in the eastern part of Tagum City in the province of Davao del Norte, Philippines.
It is one of the largest barangays in Tagum City, covering an area of approximately 9.45 square kilometers. Magugpo East is home to several residential areas, commercial establishments, schools, and government offices, including the City Hall of Tagum.
It is also the location of the Tagum City Hall of Justice and the Davao del Norte Provincial Hospital. The barangay is governed by a barangay captain and six councilors who are elected by the residents every three years.
