Tagum City Police Station is like the headquarters for keeping Tagum City safe in Davao Del Norte. They’re the ones who make sure everyone follows the laws, such as:

- Executive Order (EO) 70: ELCAC (End Local Communists Terrorist Armed Conflict)
- Republic Act (RA) 9165: Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002
- Republic Act (RA) 10883: New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016
The police station also addresses reports of missing persons and investigates crimes including theft, armed robbery, illegal drug trade through buy-bust operation, murder, homicide, corruption, cybercrime, human trafficking, as well as cases of kidnapping and hostage-taking.
Many personnel actively engage in various activities and events, including Araw ng Tagum celebrations, mangrove tree planting, coastal cleanups, Combined Arms Training Exercise (CATEX) or Katihan, and similar initiatives.
