Municipality of Pantukan

Pantukan, located in the southeastern part of Mindanao, is a municipality in the Province of Davao de Oro (formerly known as Compostela Valley) in the Philippines. Its abundant mineral resources, particularly gold, make it a popular destination for small-scale mining operations.

In addition to mining and agriculture, the town’s economy also thrives on tourism, thanks to its natural attractions such as waterfalls, hot springs, and caves that appeal to outdoor enthusiasts and visitors.

With an area of 276.57 square kilometers and a population of approximately 90,000 people based on the 2020 census, Pantukan comprises 13 barangays.
