About Tagum Cooperative FuneCare
Tagum Coop FuneCare (TC FuneCare) was founded on March 8, 2007 as the third primary business line of Tagum Cooperative, turning the cooperative vision of womb to tomb support into reality. In 2006, cooperative members contributed ₱200 each, deducted from their Protected Required Deposit (PRD) at a 7% annual interest rate, to acquire the 400 square meter property in Purok 4 Santol, Barangay La Filipina, Tagum City.
In 2008, the Tagum Cooperative Mortuary Program was formally integrated with TC FuneCare, granting members full 100% benefit coverage when selecting the cooperative funeral home. To accommodate rising demand throughout Davao del Norte and neighboring provinces, Tagum Cooperative acquired the former Topaz Funeral Homes in 2015 along the National Highway in Barangay Visayan Village, creating TC FuneCare 2. Services subsequently expanded to Davao Oriental with the establishment of TC FuneCare Lupon.
