The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) unveiled the official “Tatak Pinoy” seal during the Tatak Pinoy: Proudly Filipino Expo 2026, held at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City from May 25 to 27, 2026.
The three-day flagship event brought together the best of Philippine industries, featuring dynamic exhibits and immersive activities from the country’s leading businesses and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). DTI Secretary Ma. Cristina Roque led the unveiling of the seal, which will serve as a “Proudly Filipino” badge for products and industries that have achieved global recognition.
The Tatak Pinoy seal is a branding initiative under the current administration’s program aimed at strengthening, modernizing, and making globally competitive the local industries in the Philippines. Products bearing the seal meet high standards of quality and represent the best of Filipino craftsmanship and innovation.
The expo showcased a wide range of sectors including food and beverage, furniture, fashion, electronics, and creative industries. Visitors experienced live demonstrations, product tastings, and interactive displays that highlighted the breadth and strength of Philippine manufacturing and services.
The event at SMX Convention Center Pasay City also served as a platform for Filipino entrepreneurs to connect with potential buyers, distributors, and investors, both domestic and international. The DTI emphasized that the Tatak Pinoy program is designed to boost consumer confidence in locally made products while opening new markets for Filipino brands abroad.
The Tatak Pinoy Act, signed into law to promote Filipino products and services, provides the framework for the seal and the broader campaign to champion homegrown industries. The Pasay City expo marked one of the largest gatherings of Filipino brands under a single roof in 2026.
