KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — Around 80 exhibitors of ornamental plants and fruit trees gathered at the Provincial Capitol Gymnasium for a coordination meeting organized by the T’nalak Agri Fair 2026 Committee as part of preparations for the upcoming T’nalak Festival in South Cotabato.

The meeting was led by Provincial Agriculturist Dr. Raul D. Teves together with Plant Fair Coordinator Maylin B. Delos Santos. Discussions focused on event guidelines, schedules, and other preparations to ensure the successful conduct of this year’s Plant Fair, a key attraction of the annual T’nalak Festival celebration.

“The Plant Fair will run from July 1 to 31, 2026, at the Protech Center, featuring a wide variety of ornamental plants, fruit tree seedlings, landscaping materials, and other horticultural products from exhibitors within and outside South Cotabato,” Dr. Teves announced.

One of the highlights of the month-long event will be the Plant Competition on July 16, where outstanding plants and exhibitors will be recognized for excellence in plant cultivation and care. Awards will also be given for the most friendly booth and the clean and green booth categories.

Dr. Teves thanked exhibitors for their continued participation and support, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in promoting the ornamental plant and fruit tree industry in the province. He highlighted the Plant Fair as one of the major attractions of the T’nalak Festival, providing valuable opportunities for plant enthusiasts, farmers, and entrepreneurs to showcase and market their products.

Organizers expressed confidence that through early planning and close coordination with exhibitors, the Plant Fair 2026 will be more vibrant, organized, and successful, further strengthening South Cotabato’s growing horticulture sector.

The T’nalak Festival 2026 coincides with the 60th Foundation Anniversary of South Cotabato, making this year’s celebration especially significant. The festival features a wide range of activities including sports events like the T’nalak Dreamweavers Marathon, cultural pageants, trade fairs, and agricultural exhibits.

For organizations, barangays, and local businesses participating in the festival and plant fair, having custom-printed event shirts and promotional merchandise is an excellent way to build team identity and attract visitors. Local businesses and exhibitors can also benefit from promotional shirts and corporate giveaways to strengthen their brand presence at the month-long event.

With 80 exhibitors already confirmed and more expected to join, the T’nalak Plant Fair 2026 is shaping up to be the biggest and most vibrant yet. Residents of Koronadal City and visitors from across Mindanao can look forward to a month of green shopping, learning, and community celebration at the Protech Center starting July 1.
