Hull City have officially unveiled their new home kit for the 2026-27 Premier League season, marking both the club’s return to the top flight and a fresh partnership with local sportswear brand Oxen Sports. The shirt goes on sale Friday, June 12, and is already generating plenty of buzz among Tigers supporters.
Back to Premier League Basics
The new strip pays homage to Hull City’s iconic 1978/79 kit, bringing back the classic HCAFC lettering across the front of the shirt — a detail not seen since the days of Ken Wagstaff and Billy Bremner, 47 years ago. There’s no tiger crest or modern badge on the chest; instead, the bold black and amber vertical stripes are kept clean with the classic club acronym, making it one of the most nostalgic Premier League kits of the season.
Oxen Sports, a Hull-based company founded in the city’s Fruit Market area, replaces Kappa as the club’s kit supplier in a multi-year deal. CEO Lee Jenkinson — a lifelong Hull City fan and former season ticket holder — said the design was all about leaning into the club’s identity.
Pricing and Availability
The kit will be available from 9 AM BST on Friday, June 12, at the Tiger Leisure store and online. Adult shirts are priced at £64 (or £68 for long sleeve), women’s shirts at £64 (£60 cropped), and youth shirts at £45. Shorts and socks are also available. The first training wear range for the new campaign launches alongside the home strip.
The club’s all-green goalkeeper kit has also been revealed. Fans can have Premier League badges printed for an extra charge, while Premier League names and numbers will follow in due course. The shirt is currently being sold without a front-of-shirt sponsor, with an announcement expected soon.
A New Chapter for Hull City
Hull City secured their return to the Premier League by beating Middlesbrough in the Championship play-off final at Wembley in May. The 2026-27 season will be their first in the top flight in a decade, and this kit launch signals a fresh identity both on and off the pitch. The away kit is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
