A Drafted Female Block, Not a Scaled Down Men's Fit
A women's pullover that uses a resized men's pattern sits wrong at the bust and rides up at the sweep. We draft the block for the female form first, then grade it, so the shaping holds at every size in the range.
Bust and waist shaping
The block carries dart equivalents through the side seam, so the pullover follows the body without pulls across the chest.
Shorter sleeve profile
Sleeve length and cuff opening are drafted for the female arm rather than inherited from a unisex pattern.
Grading that holds
The ladder runs from XS to 4XL, and oversized grading patterns are available where the range needs to go further.
Drop Shoulder Construction, Sewn as One Piece
The shoulder seam sits away from the shoulder point, which gives the relaxed line brands ask for and removes the pulling that a set in sleeve creates on a heavier fabric.

YKK metal half-zip with an auto-lock slider, so the pull stays where it is set. SBS zippers are available where a programme calls for them.
Fleece body
Polyester fleece across the 200 to 300 GSM range, with an anti-pill finish and optional sherpa backing for colder programmes.
