The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) is the country's largest foreign chamber, founded in Manila in 1978 to champion European and Philippine business relations. This guide explains who the chamber is, where its offices sit, what it does for members, and how RB Advertising manufactures and documents custom apparel for chambers, business councils, and trade delegations.
Written for member firms, sourcing teams, and wholesale apparel buyers who work with the European and Philippine business community.
Figures as published by the chamber. Confirm current details at its official site.
The ECCP is a multilateral foreign chamber. That means it is a private membership body that represents the interests of European companies active in the Philippines, and of Philippine companies that trade with Europe, on both sides of the relationship. It is not a government agency and it does not clear goods or issue visas. It is a business network with a seat at the table when policy is discussed.
The chamber works to make its members' viewpoints heard on economic and business issues, legislative measures, and administrative regulations. It publishes advocacy papers, runs committees, and holds dialogues with government officials on the issues that matter to the European and Philippine business landscape. It also builds skills through seminars, workshops, and a competency hub.
Why this matters to apparel buyers. Chambers, business councils, and trade delegations are made of member firms that buy branded apparel for staff, events, and missions. A chamber is both a network and a buyer. Understanding the body helps a supplier serve the firms inside it.

The chamber began in Manila and grew outward into the regions. Its reach now spans Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao through a head office and five branches.
The founding office, at the Philippine AXA Life Centre on Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue. Home to the secretariat, advocacy, and member services.
Opened as the chamber began representing members at international trade fairs. It anchors the Visayas membership.
The first Mindanao office, serving the Southern Mindanao business community and the island economy around it.
The third regional branch outside Metro Manila, covering Northern Mindanao and the Cagayan de Oro trade corridor.
The fourth regional branch, opened to push active promotion of the Western Visayas region.
The fifth branch, opened to represent the Northern and Central Luzon business community near the Clark economic zone.
The head office sits in Makati City at the Philippine AXA Life Centre on Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, at the corner of Tindalo Street. Offices and details can change, so confirm the current branch list with the chamber.
The chamber organizes its work around four jobs. Each one brings people together and turns a network into something a firm can use.
Papers, committees, and dialogues with government on economic and business issues, legislative measures, and administrative regulations, including a sustainability whitebook and an ease of doing business track.
A members directory, annual partners, evening gatherings, and member stories that connect firms to industry leaders and to each other inside the European and Philippine business community.
Market entry help, business development, business and technical support, business opportunity matching, trade fair assistance, advertising, projects, and office space for firms setting up in the Philippines.
A running calendar of events and a competency hub of trainings, seminars, and workshops, with partner facilitators and member testimonials behind the program.
What began in 1978 with 51 companies grew into a national network. These are the milestones the chamber publishes along the way.

The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, or ECCP, is a multilateral foreign chamber that promotes European business interests in the Philippines and Philippine interests in Europe. It is an independent membership organization, not a government body, and it describes itself as the largest foreign chamber in the country.
The ECCP was founded in Manila in May 1978 with 51 pioneering companies across a wide range of industries. It marked its 45th anniversary in 2023 and now describes close to 1,000 members among its ranks.
The head office is in Makati City. The chamber also runs regional branches in Cebu (1990), Davao (2013), Cagayan de Oro (2017), Iloilo for Western Visayas (2022), and Clark in Pampanga (2024). Its reach spans Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Four things mainly. It advocates through papers, committees, and dialogues with government. It connects members through business meetings and gatherings. It provides services such as business development, business and technical support, trade fair assistance, and office spaces. And it builds skills through seminars, workshops, and a competency hub.
The ECCP signed a cooperation agreement with the European Commission in 1986 and works closely with European embassies and the Delegation of the European Union in the Philippines. It was a founding member of the European Business Organizations Worldwide Network in 2004 and of the EU ASEAN Business Council in 2014.
Yes. RB Advertising manufactures corporate polo shirts, embroidered corporate shirts, and event or delegation tees in the Philippines, and we document the export for European and Philippine buyers. We are a garment manufacturer and not affiliated with the ECCP, so confirm membership and event details with the chamber directly.
